I remember walking with my dad on our old ranch, talking about things like angels, where does God live, why did God make the sky blue and not tangerine, lil kid questions like that. One day when I was 6, my sister and I were late for school. We got in the car, me in the passenger seat and my sister behind my mom. My parents had been divorced since as long as I could remember, and my mother had great jealousy for my step-mom and drilled into my head that she was a horrible person. I was born into a Christian family, so for most of my life I assumed that meant I was a Christian. It doesn't. Jesus said in the Bible "Except a man be born again, he cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven" - so I wasn't 'born' a believer.
Anyway, I kind of assumed I was a Christian but I didn't read the Bible often, if at all, and only went to church when I had to. I certainly never prayed, and I didn't believe most of what was said by Christians to be true. I'm
